Handcrafted in Lake Arrowhead, CA
VERY LIMITED LOCAL PRODUCTION
Original was sculpted by a Lake Arrowhead
craftsman/artist in the 80's. In 2010 the original
was rejuvenated and a mold impression was
taken that would accommodate the undercuts
and detail. The mold is buttressed by 200lb
mother mold for extraction. A mixture of
crushed Lake Arrowhead decomposed granite
and binder is tinted, cast, signed by the original
artist, and left for initial cure. The extracted
piece is sun-cured and hand-finished. The piece
can hang or set into concrete, tile, and etc. The
pic does not show the 4X twisted wire hangers
that enable hanging in either direction. There is
only 1 mold for this piece.

1 foot. This particular arrowhead is natural in
color (See available colors below). In addition,
unsealed arrowheads can be made and then acid
stained as you like similar to concrete counter
tops. $150 each plus shipping and minor

Detail as to Smaller Casts. These casts are made by hand in Lake Arrowhead, California in very
limited quantities (1 per day). They are not mass produced and each, except for early casts, is initialed by the
sculptor on the back (Medallions have an imprint on the side with the year (2010- year of sculpture) and
sculptor's name). Only 1 Medallion and only 1 Emblem can be made a day in clement weather. One-third to
half that can be made during winter months because of setting time.
Each piece is made with crushed Lake Arrowhead decomposed granite. It is very course which enables a
fairly strong cast, however, it also allows for a unique finished surface (both rough and smooth). The material
is tinted and bound by a cement binder.

Medallions. Then a wood and plaster mold was made to support the latex.
Since the pieces are made of cement, it would not be advisable to inset them into a location that is too close
to intense heat (heat to hot to touch with a bare hand). Also, if placing any of the pieces in the ground as a
stepping stone, make certain that there is a good foundation either via compacted sand or concrete to give
the piece support to withstand the weight of a person.
